I fell in love with fine arts and photography at a young age and started my wedding photography business in the midwest while studying visual communications. I've always been inspired by portraiture and the human connection, which made wedding photography such a perfect fit. Seven years into my career as a wedding photographer, I left the comforts and familiarity of home in curious pursuit of adventure out west. I found myself landing in beautiful Colorado and have been continously inspired by this wild and majestic landscape.
After ten years of photographing weddings, my approach remains the same - a light hearted sensibility paired with a purposeful eye. My work is often described as timeless, honest and thoughtfully narrative. I draw inspiration from quiet elegance, adventurous hearts and honest expressions of love. You can learn more about my approach to wedding photography HERE.
I am grateful to call beautiful Vail, Colorado home but am frequently commissioned to both east and west coasts. My photographs can be found in several publications, both in print and online including Brides Magazine, Martha Stewart, Southern Weddings Magazine, The Knot, Style Me Pretty, Once Wed, and MORE.
When I'm not photographing weddings, I'm likely lost in the mountains with my sweet golden retriever, Lola, or I'm exploring new parts of the world - camera in tow. I've always had an adventurous heart and a profound love of nature. I strive to explore at least one new country each year and last year I was able to cross off ten! Travel has taught me so much about this beautifully diverse world and the amazing people in it. I couldn't agree more with the brilliant Mark Twain, "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness."
